About me
I was always extremely active as a kid but in 1996 at the age of 12 I got hit by a drunk driver on my dirtbike which shattered my pelvis and both femurs. The right was an open fracture that severed my femoral artery.
The man who hit me save my life by tying a tourniquet around my leg, and I was rushed by helicopter since I lived extremely rural two hours away into the city of Anchorage, where I spent two months in ICU at one point in a hospital induced coma…

I underwent 13 different surgeries. One of which was 14 hours long, removing my litmus dorsi, the largest back muscle and transplanting it into my right knee. Another surgery was the amputation of my big toe and the tips of the other four because they turned black due to no blood flow from the severed artery.
My right leg is also about an inch shorter than the left because this happened during my youth when I was going through a growth spurt. The doctors felt instead of doing a bone lengthening procedure on the leg. You would be easier to wear a lift in my shoe which I do now have an orthopedic lift.
It took a couple years to get back to the point where I was walking and somewhat able to run, but this was after many doctor visits and prosthesis is one of which was a boot that immobilized my ankle because I do not have much dorsal flexion.
I removed this because it would hurt and treat pressure points where it was strapped onto the front of my leg and limited my mobility in a large way.
My motto is an acronym for my name. zero excuses bro! Or Babe!
